I want it back!!!

Yes, foggy morning started to scream: "YOU CAN KISS YOUR SUMMER GOODBYE!" Oh, well, there's nothing I can do about it, I'd like to stay around a while longer, but on the other hand.....

SKIING VACATION IN FRANCE IS ONLY 4 MONTHS AWAY!!! Yay for that! See? There's some good in any bad. LOL

Autumn is wonderful. Full of colors and fruits and scents. And new beginnings ... And I was born in autumn. :-)

I am a May child.... MAY means new beginnings. :)

... my year has a lot of new beginings: january - new year, 21st of March - spring, 21st of June - simmer, 23rd of September - awtumn, 21st of December - winter, 1st of September - school year, 19th of November - birthday, Christmas, Pasha, Ramadan ... - I start my diet and finishing my university on this "new beginings" the last 15 years ... that's supposed to be funny, but actually is not, I discovered. Anyway, I'm posting cause I wrote it.

I have a mug that says "I've been trying to loose my weight. But it keeps on finding me."

But fog is nice though.

Yes... it looked nice. :) But I prefer my mornings without it.

I wished that I liked skiing. Cross-country was fun, but downhill was painful and agonizing.

Downhill..... yes, it stars with some major pain and all, but when you start mastering the moves...... it's PURE ecstasy! :)

Man, that looks awesome!

What really hurt the most was the ski boots last time. I swear they aren't built for human feet. Plus, I never mastered "staying up" or "turning left" and other skills.

yes..... Boots are the most annoying part of the game. It's really tricky to buy a proper pair and even then.... I was suffering for nearly two winters will my legs and feet and darned boots started to get along well. I realised it's also closely connected to the level of your skiing. The better you get, the softer and more "natural" your moves are. I'd say it's the same as with swimming. When fighting becomes pleasure - that's the point to reach.

I'm looking forward to Autumn here and the much cooler temperatures associated with it.

If only we could negotiate a trade... your Autumn for my Summer ;)

Hmmmmm.... maybe, just maybe.... I'll keep my autumn. :)

the signs of autumn are showing up here too. i wouldn't be surprised if it snowed soon.
i enjoy the cool days a lot! :D
Sep. 10th, 2008 05:26 pm (UTC)
Snow? Already? We probably won't see any till December/Jaunary here. Or even later, given our last winters.
Sep. 11th, 2008 03:26 pm (UTC)
I still need air conditioner during December. :P
Sep. 11th, 2008 04:11 pm (UTC)
We need heating. :)

Fog so early in the year? Your climate seems to be so different from mine!
It's still summer here, although there are yellow leaves on the trees here and there. The heat isn't as bad as the middle of August, but we haven't had rain for a very long time, I can FEEL the dryness of the air as I breathe...I don't want the summer to end, but I long for a little rain.

Yes... foggy mornings start to appear sometimes in September.... Days are still warm, even hot, but mornings are on the gloomy side. Part of the reason is alse the fact that Ljubljana lies on a plan, that's mainly moorland, so there's more humidity in the air.
