Weekend #4. Paperless.

Ah, I am a little proud of myself. The graphic tablet I got for Christmas last year was just "resting" in a drawer. I think I've used it only a couple of times to work on some pictures. I did try to draw using it, but it was a major flop. And today I plugged in the stubborn Taurus, that's supposedly my ascendent. Anyway... I wanted to draw a bit, but with eyes being focused on the screen, not on my hand, and with no reasonable possibility to turn the "paper" and make horizontal lines a bit easier it proved to be quite demanding. So proportions suck and some stuff is not logical, but I am not giving up.

So... I present you my first "paperless" design. It's one of too many crossovers and I decided to call it Trenta, which is - for me - the most beautiful mountain valley in Slovenia. And that's all there's to it. My hand actually hurts a little, but it's okay.

And, Monday is off, so this is - technically - still a weekend post. :)

If you click on it twice, it gets bigger. LOL Yes, putzmeisterbear , I stole that one from you.

And a detail I really had fun with. The headlight.

Intentional or not, the friendly little 'face' of your work brought a smile to my little face.
Not just for the terrific work you've done, but because you've brought to mind the 'face' of one of my favorite little friendlies... the Renault Dauphine!

In all seriousness, nicely done. Any particular inspiration here? I also love the Trenta nomenclature. I'm surprised no one has used that before :)

Hey hey. Glad it made you smile a little. And thanks! Well, I had to say I was really fighting with the tablet to get it all done in a more or less acceptable fashion. It is hard to draw when you're not looking at your hand. And I had no particular inspiration, I just wanted to draw *something*. :)

That's a great design. Compact yet muscular looking.

Thanks! :) It was funny, I wasn't even thingking about the design. I just wanted to complete the drawing. :)

When your cars go into production I want to come test drive one.
The light detail is very cool.
