Sometimes, less is more.

Yes, sometimes you really need to take the colours away to make them stand out. These were taken this weekend, on an ever so lovely Croatian island Krk (you can pronounce it like Kirk :)) and I think that taking away bright summer colours just adds some drama to the whole really lazy setting.

Yes, taking it away or taking it out can be so lovely. Like, for example, taking the salt out of the sea and powder those tiny white, sun dried crystals over a man's skin. A wonderful thing to lick. And... I still get to choose the prey. Just sayin'

So, onto some less for more.

Linden? :)

I love the contrast in the last two photos. But I miss the colour of the sea.

No, it's mulberry. :) I opted for contrast in favour of colours. Who knows how I might feel next weekend. :)

Thanks, Todd! :)

I wanted to give them really strong contrast to pull out the lines and some... drama?

No pics of you covered in salt crystals, then?

Oh, but I wasn't talking about my skin. And a camera would be.... ehem... slightly out of place, methinks. :)

Beautiful pics...I especially like the mulberry leaves.

And perhaps you can add just a little salt to me and then lick if you feel inclined!

Well.... I'd all the salt we'd agree upon. And the off to some licking, right?

Lovely. Is it possible I've only been back here for less than a month? I look back to vacation and I seems just a dream?

I know how that feels. Some things come and go, some still seem here and now, yet so distant...

Love these. Esp, the top one. Together they capture the stillness of the moment and region. I've been to places like this in Italy. Great job!
