Let the silly stuff roll on.

Do you think that having a few of these might be the reason for my today's silly behaviour? Who could tell......

And .... to stay in sync with la folie du jour. LOL

Let me be your underwear
So I can touch you there
And there
And there
That's what I want

in the std/hiv health community we differentiate "gay" men from heterosexual identified men who have sex with men. The HIMSM do not identify as gay... denial and/or some scale of bisexuality most likely but in their heads they are straight men who occasionally enjoy another mans penis. They are particularly an issue as they frequently been shown to have unsafe sex and bring things home to their wives/girlfriends.

What exactly is your work in that sector? I've never quite figured it out.

It's amazing what you can discover when you start following link after link on the Internet... I know that there are support groups for American women who have discovered that their supposedly straight husbands secretly have sex with men (some people call it "on the down low"), and the unsafe sex issue seems to be very common.

*Now* I am the Personnel guy for the health dept. I liason between the managers here and the county HR downtown. For example, I don't make the hiring decisions, I assist the managers through the bueurocratic process of hiring. I have my fingers pretty much in all the programs in one way or another from hiring to firing to staff leaves to a gazillion other issues that arise surrounding staff here. Lately I've been highly involved in the fallout surrounding layoffs... again, I didn't make the layoff decisions but am assisting the staff, managers and HR with all the pieces that have come from the layoffs.

Where I came from was about 10 years of volunteering in HIV education followed by actually coming to work in Public Health in the HIV/STD program as a health educator. I finally left HIV education and working directly with clients after about 15 years of it... I was burnt out, tired of seeing friends in need, and honestly I couldn't justify the fact that I didn't practice what I preached. I couldn't live with the fact that I would go out on a Saturday and get fucked without a condom then turn around on Monday and try telling youth or at risk populations (including straight married men on the down low) that they have to use condoms all the time. Moving into personnel was a great way for me to still assist the world and do something good out there but now take care of the staff that serve clients instead of serving clients directly. :)

so... did that answer the question? or you still don't get what I do? LOL
