Yes, one of those days again...

...days when I really get bored during our meetings. So I just turn all the papers around and start drawing. I have to say I feel that perspective drawing comes back slowly step by step, with each little car I draw. Now, if only I were able to get closer to 21st Century styling...

I might even scan that one later when I come home. Just a monospace thing. Because they are easy to draw.

Please, amuse me today. :)

And so it should. :)

I prefer slightly aggressive car desing to mild, smiling faces. Technology is a serious thing. :)

Did you hear that the Brits recently conducted a study on doodling and memory retention? Supposedly, your ability to remember information increases by 30% if you doodle during a meeting. It has something to do w/ the fact that your brain is demanding distraction NO MATTER WHAT. So, if you give it what it wants, it chills out and does what it's supposed to. I probably just massacred that theory but it works for me. =P

Actually.... I am able to follow what's going on and even take a rather vivid side on the meeting even if I doodle. And, yes, it helps me to concentrate.

And it helps me to stray from it all.

And to look cool, right? :)

Wow! And you did that on the back of notepaper?

I really like it. It would be a good study for the next-generation Ford Focus.

Yes, I was done with that paper so I just re-used it. I agree, it has some Ford-like features, I just need to get into their present Kinetic design, as they call it.

Thanks. :)

Any interior design for the cars also?? :)

Not yet.... I need a longer meeting for that. Interior does take a little more time. :)

love the long front window and the doors are very cool exp if the back ones are suiside doors. but i am fraid that if they built it here they would ruin it with side mirrors and crap

Man, you pulled in design elements from so many cars, with a healthy dose of originality. I used to draw cars when I was bored (I now have nerve damage in my right hand, so now I just "squiggle"). I love the Subaru WRX front door windows (I loved that design - so George Jetson) and the way you took that side body crease and flared it over the rear wheels. I can't wait to meet you someday - we'll just talk cars (and men!).

Hope it's a good day on the other side of the world.

Hugs.

See? I am a proper journalist. I call my work recycling at times, putting together stuff that already exists. :) So, I guess this drawing comes from the same esprit. Yes, WRX style doors were a must if I wanted the windows to open. I will try to be more original next time.

And I am sure we'd find loads and loads of topics. You know. :)

Day was good, night is calm and easy.......

HUGS back!!!
