Why don't you sing along..........

cecilgene got me to do this. He said:
"I came up with these earlier in the week. I really do work when I am at work :-)"

1. Name a song you have to stay in the car and finish listening to.

2. Conversely, name a song that you always skip on an album or in general. This is one that also would make you switch stations if it came on the radio.

3. Do you ever intentionally sing the lyrics of a song wrong to humor yourself? If so, what song or songs is it and what are the "new" lyrics?

4. Let's say you're gettin' freaky... what do you put on as a musical aphrodisiac... if anything?

5. Is there a song that you always have to sing along with? If so, what is it?"

So, here are my answers:

1. I always need to listen to the whole "Approximate Mood Swings #2" by The Art Of Noise. It's not not long tune, so it works just fine.

2. Roy Orbison always provokes the "skip" or "scan". Most likely it will (almost in all cases but one, maybe too) happen to Celine Dion.

3. Igor and I often make up stupid lyrics to songs. Words often have no meanings, they just need to sound really really odd. Ok, some rhyme is appreciated, but it's not a must.

4. If I really feel nervous or annoyed, I put one some loud, really powerful, brutal music and I just let it "kill" all the bad thoughts and emotions. It works. And for luvmakin anything goes; because I am too "in it" that I don't listen to what's going on around me.

5. I sing to songs all the time. Guess some 80% of my useful brain capacity is dedicated to lyrics. So, be at home, be in my office, be in the car, sometimes on the bus, in the street (even if only slight lips movement), I do sing along songs all the time.

So.......... back to cecilgenewords again:

"Ok now your turn. Feel free to post this and answer in your own journal or leave comments with the answers."

Hmmm there are farrrrr to many examples of all of the above, except for number 4, as it has never really seemed appropriate to say "hold on, let me get my tongue out of your mouth while I put on a good album/track/collection" and it there are tunes on when it all starts to get smoochy, invariably they are have stopped looong before we have LOL

I am a musical tart n sing to most stuff.
As for changin lyrics, me n the bf do it all the time, to many many tracks, usually while in car, Celine Dion "My fart will go on" is a good one. If you like this knida thing, go to YooTube n check out Supergirly A duo who do this for a living, they have a VERY good Cher and Britney parody

The bf has even downloaded their tunes LOL
