FF. And my wet dreams.

It might not be what the title suggests. It's about all new Ferrari FF. As controversial as this new Cavallino Rampante might seem to some (due to it's 2+2 seats and four wheel drive and his "vanlike" appearance), I think it's a marvellous piece of machinery and design. We can easily leave the machinery part aside, because it's, well, perfect, so the design... I think that Pinifarina did an astonishing job, penning a car that's both classical Ferrari in some elements and totally different in some. Good design, perfect design, should polarise, it should have this like/dislike effect. Pretty and suitable for all and sweet and kind... is nice, but it wears off quickly. Boring, maybe? And I guess that with cars in that price range, some extravagance is more than welcome. Volume products need to play safer.

Thoughts? Oh, and that hardon-inducing sound. Ay me, sad Ferrari-less hours years seem long. (Sorry, Wiliam! LOL)

I love this car as well, and I'm a huge fan of the 'shooting break' concept. Ferrari does it well - there have been some other manufacturers who have shown concepts that were similar, but Ferrari's execution is stunning. Proportions are excellent. Details are perfect and not overdone.

I know paddle-shifter transmissions are the thing now, but I do wish a conventional-clutch manual shift were available as an alternative. It still startles me when I look inside exotic cars at the shows and I just see a few buttons on the floor console.

Yes, I think they did a wonderful job on a shooting break theme. It's a great combination of all what's typically Ferrari and some, well a lot, of added value and 'value'.

And....... "Save the Manuals" campaing aside, I guess we'll see more and more buttons. I haven't checked, but I think that FF also uses one of those dual clutch automated manual gearboxes.

And, it's oh so pretty....
