It is a lovely view, yes.

Yup, this is what I see from the bus on my way to work. And Jamie Cullum is in my ears, singing:

So what game shall we play today
How about the one when you
Don't get your way......

Yes, afternoon/evening work is not my fancy.

/end pity party

Weekend is one day closer. Padova parties, here we come again. :-)

How's you?

Tomaz, that view is simply stunning. Thanks again for allowing us to see the world through your eyes.

I am pondering finally getting an iPod, mainly so I can listen to a few Pagan podcasts and such, but I might find myself listening to music as well. I shall have to look up Jamie Cullum.

How lovely you are going to Padua! Will you spend a day or two on either side of the weekend over there? I would love to explore that area... so many gem-like little villages...

Hey, Shimmer. Yes, Ljubljana can offer some nice little sigths. :) iPod is my only Apple thing, simply because it's good and - in my mind - worth the money. I find all that other iMania totally offputting though. LOl

Padua... this time just two days of partying. I need that to get rid of some of the stress.

There are pictures of my great aunt that were put in National Geographic that later are found in other publications as essentially being some sort of Eastern European peasant woman. The lady was like a quarter Nez Peirce Indian, and standing in a grain field south of Moscow Idaho... lol

The rolling hills and the forested ridge along with the grass lands really remind me of home back in Idaho...

You know, this image lasts for probably ten seconds when you're on the bus. Then it's more or less city again. :)

Padova parties? What are those? You drive to Padova to have parties? And I thought you worked in the city, but maybe your new place is outside the city.

Ciao

You can find really good (gay more or less) parties in Padova, yes. This weekend will be part of what they call Pride Village, a big, month long thing. Open set, three DJs, a few thousands of people. Can hardly wait.

I do work in the city centre and this image was actually taken within Ljubljana "city limits". :) Slovenia is small, Ljubljana even more so and it only takes ten minutes from the city centre to see a lovely countryside. We live some... 12 minutes away. :)

The view is not too different from what one could have here in New England, though I'll bet that on closer inspection the style of houses would show differences.

Jul. 14th, 2010 08:05 am (UTC)
Houses would defnitely look more Austro-Hungarian style here. :)

Oooh...such pretty scenery. I usually see the tunnel that the train is in, then it comes out in the industrial waterfront that is South Vancouver.

This, in essence, is Ljubljana. Funny, first thing almost everybody who comes here happens to notice is how green Slovenia is. About 75% of the country is just forests. :)

We're that wild, yes.
