So what does it do to you?

Yes, this is how the Moon looked like some 10 minutes ago here in Ljubljana and it's going to be full in two days. For the past days I've been feeling some pre-full Moon stuff. What does it do to you? Can you feel it? Is it pleasant? Is it annoying?

Do tell.

It doesn't do anything to me.

But it drives my mother and my sister crazy, and they can't sleep.

The moon does nothing for me. But your photograph of the moon makes me happy. Thanks!

Oh, I can get unusually nervous sometimes when the Moon is approaching its full phase. But I still love just to look at it and think. It is calming, yes. But sometimes, just sometimes, I feel a bit depressed because I don't know much about the Universe beyond it. I can even feel somehow lonely and lost. But it's just a tiny moment. I love to world around me as it is.

It always pleases me and I ponder it from a very spritual place within myself. No, seriously. I have to admit, however, that I'm one of those people who have to wonder "is it really full, or is it just closed to full?"

Looking at the night sky is a spiritual experience. And I hardly ever wonder whether it's full or not. I just look at it and says WOW, it's big. Yes, my mind is in the gutter. LOL

The energy in my neighbourhood perceptibly changes around the full moon - a couple of days before and after, it seems people have so much on their minds that they forget simple courtesies and personal safety much more than usual.

Running errands today in the car, I had two people (separately) step directly in front of the car, and then look surprised that I might actually want to drive on the roadway.

Sometimes this energy is draining and I sequester myself for a bit, and other moons it can be almost euphoric. Always I'm more careful, as I know it affects me to some degree, either directly or indirectly through those around me.

So it is powerful. Even very much so. I mean if almost whole nature is more or less depending on Moon phases, we can hardly afford to stay out of it all. Yes, intelligence is strong, yet still so weak sometimes.

I get really furry during the full moon.

And during the half moon, and during the new moon, and during the waning and waxing gibbous moons and during the... :)

I'd love to see YOUR "full moon"! :-)

A full moon does NOTHING to me - but then again, I'm a cold-hearted, emotionless BITCH! LOL

But it certainly does bring the crazies out! *yikes*

Most of the time, I find it just a little bit harder to keep my walls up (you know me, guarded and masochistic). So, around full moon time, I tend to get a little friskier. Although, this time, I went through a little of an emotional frenzy, mixing masochism with pessimism and guilt.

Emotions play a big role in my life already, always has. I really don't believe I can afford to let them go unchecked.

And I usually get more sensitive when the full Moon approaches.....

And don't every try to ignore your emotions, A. You are a very emotional person and that's big in my book.

Can you guess what it does to and for me? ;-) I bet you can.

It makes me feel on a level reserved for occasional times.

It brings the sap up and makes me want to throw back my head, take a huge breath, and howl like the world is ending.

It makes me want to peel out of my clothes out of my limitations and run naked in the wood with all the furry lovers I can find. In some kind of animal version of an orgy.

that's what it does for me. lol

I've given it some thought and in the interest of my poor tender city feet I guess I'd leave my shoes on. I mean really frolicking in the wilds of Slovenia sounds hot, but a little less so with torn up feets. It might detract from some of the other things I'd rather be focused on at that point.
