17-55, 2.8

Yes, that's the code name for my new lens. After much cosideration and deciding between a seriously wide angle lens 10-22mm, f3.5-4.5 and "just" wideangle 17-55mm, f2.8 I went for the latter one. I think Ernie cajuncountry  helped a lot with THIS.
What can I say... It's huge, heavy and OMG it rocks. The world won't ever be the same. LOL

My babies. :)

New 17-55, 2.8 and old 18-55, 3.5-4.5 I gave Igor - together with old 450D. And now we can both have fun.

It's not about wide angle, it's about THE WORLD IS THE ONLY ONE. :)

I am still in my f/1.4 love, so I hope there's some place in my heart for f/2.8. :)

Fantastic! I'm quite sure you will love it!

It's funny how everyone has to comment on the size of the whole outfit! Kinda feels pretty good when folks notice. hehe.

I'm even more jealous... yours has a stabilizer built into it.... mine does not. So your effective stops just got lowered! That' pretty freakin' cool.

Congratulations!

Yes, people should notice size more often hee hee. :)

And, yes, I alread like that lens although I still didn't take it "for a proper ride". And yes, stabilizer is a good thing.

Thanks, Ernie! You helped a lot!
