When you're November, going to December.

Yes, this is weather-wise probably the ugliest part of the year in Ljubljana. Days are short, temperatures are low, humidity is high (making the sensation of cold even more annoying), sky is cloudy and the colours of the day usually range from Pitch Black, Black, Dark Grey to Light Grey and then back to Pitch Black.

Weather this weekend:
Friday/Saturday - Cloudy and cold. Heavy rain during the day. Heavy snow during the night. We got almost 20 cm/8 inches (oh, I know this measurements well) of nice puffy snow. And it lasted till the morning.
Saturday/Sunday - heavy, heavy rain that melted almost all the snow. What's left of it are dirty piles here and there.
Sunday/Monday - heavy, heavy rain, even storms with thunder and lightning, which is creepy for 1st December.

Monday - with all mentioned we got some 30 minutes of snow and this was one of the HIGHlights of the day..........

I think Ljubljana has the same weather as northern Wisconsin and Minnesota. I do love it though.

Well, I think I do much better with more light. Rain and all is okay, but this murky sky can really get me down.

November, December period can be a bit dreadful. But when real frost or snow come, it's much better. You can see all the mountains around the city. Today...... I was only able to see the next hill. :)

Ugh. For Vancouver it's rain, rain and more rain. :o| That being said, we have the best tap water. I would rather drink tap water than bottle water, that is how good it is.

Well.... rain is okay, snow is even better. But I want brighter days.

"I would rather drink tap water" - if only you drank it? :)

I am staying dry, because I am only lurking from the inside.

Igor just got home, soaking wet. Another shower/storm - at 9pm. :)))) Odd.

It's dark, cloudy, foggy, and occasionally rainy here... no snow, at least not in my part of Bulgaria.

The last yellow leaves are falling off. Almost winter.

But I'm sending you a smile. :)

I actually LOVE storms. The wind, the thunder, the lightning, the rain. I just love the natural power of it all. I sometimes go walking in the storms to to experience it.

Unfortunatley we mostly just get rain in Vancouver, not a whole heck of a lot of amazing storms. :-(

On a geekier level...Storm is my favourite X-Man character, too. ;-)

I like summer storms. A lot. But a storm at 4C is not really something to rave about. LOL

And I guess we'll just have to survive this disgusting time to get some real winter. :)

The weather is warm and sunny and the temperature was around 30 degrees centigrade. : P

Wanna visit Taiwan during winter times??
